To become a part of the Rangerphile Directory, or update your existing listing, simply fill out the form below and click the submit button. Most of the fields below are fairly straightforward, however, a few will be explained.
Number 8, "C+G", refers to whether you are in favor of Chip and Gadget as a couple, or not. It is one of the great dividing lines among the Rangerphiles. However, don't let that scare you! Feel free to answer the question as you see fit. Though their opinions may differ greatly, both Pro's and Anti's are proud of their views, and respect each other's points of view. Any "fights" that may occur are almost always in good fun.
Number 9, "Rangercode", is an invention of TheBoz, (Byron Crowe), to help other Rangerphiles quickly find out more about each other in a way that could be included at the end of posts, or e-mail messages. If you don't have your own Ranger Code worked out yet, and you wish to do so, you can find out how here - http://winston.ieatleet.co.uk/gadget/rrcode.htm.
Number 13, "Picture link", is meant to allow you to have a link to a photo of yourself in the Directory, so that other Rangerphiles can see what you look like. Please try to use a picture of yourself, not an RP character. However, if you are really uncomforatable using a picture of yourself, an RP pic will be acceptable. If you do not have a picture of yourself that you would like to use already on the web, one can be saved for you here on this page. Just e-mail it to me, and it will be added in. Please limit your photo size to under 100Kb, however. Less than 50Kb is preferable.
Number 14, "Favorite Quote", is there to allow you to add one of your favorite quotes to the Directory. It can be written by you, or someone else. If it's not your own quote, though, please try to give the proper credit, if possible. The maintainer does not take any responsibility for you using another person's quote without their permission. Also, for your protection, it is assumed that any quote you give does not belong to you, and that you are not trying to claim it as your own, unless specifically signed by yourself at the end, in which case you alone take responcibility for your claim.
Number 15, "Biography", is meant to allow you to include a more in-depth background about yourself than is possible here in the Directory. If you already have a bio on your own web page, feel free to give a link to it. If you don't have your own bio on the web, however, one can be saved for you on this page. Simply type it up in the box given, and a link will be added to it in your listing. Please keep in mind, though, that this web page is intended to be 'G' rated, and will be kept that way. The maintainer reserves the right to make minor edits to your bio, if needed, so that its content is in keeping with the spirit of this page. The maintainer will also check preexisting bios, just to make sure that their content is not offensive, and if it is found to be so, they will terminate the link to it. Just use your common sense.
As always, it is up to you to decide how much information to divulge about yourself. Every category in this form has a blank option that can be selected if you so choose. If you are updating and wish to only change one or two items, that's fine. There is no need to fill out the entire form again. All you need to do is fill out the specific areas that you wish to change, and the maintainer will make the corrections. However, if you want any items deleted that are currently listed in the directory, please either type the word "DELETE", or select "DELETE" in the appropriate field.
Please note that you do not need to list either your name, or your nickname, (if you have one), but that at least one or the other is required. Also, please don't feel pressured to include any information. For instance, if you do not have a nickname, you do not need to come up with one just to be listed.
Also, updates to the Rangerphile Directory are NOT automatic. When you submit your information after filling out this form, that information is sent to the maintainer in an e-mail. It is then type it up, and added to the page as soon as possible. So do not be alarmed if your information does not appear immediately.
